I take pride in giving my clients the absolute best legal representation possible. I understand how difficult it can be when it feels like everyone is against you and nobody will take your side. I make it my goal to make sure none of my clients ever feel that way.
I am a life-long Lake of the Ozarks resident. I attended Camdenton High School and graduated as the valedictorian of my class. I played football for the Lakers and was a member of the Camdenton Speech and Debate Team.
I am married and have two sons.
In my spare time, I enjoy flying airplanes, boating, and making beer.
Experience
I have tried cases to judges and juries in the civil and criminal court systems. I have successfully sued some of the largest corporations and insurance companies in the world.
I am proud to call myself a trial attorney.
I have represented clients in contested proceedings before the Missouri Division of Workers Compensation, the Missouri Division of Unemployment, the Missouri Department of Revenue, the Federal Aviation Administration, and the federal Social Security Administration.
I have handled cases at the Missouri Court of Appeals and the Missouri Supreme Court and am admitted to the bar of the Supreme Court of the United States. I have always had a large part of my practice focused on appeals. My cases are not over when the trial is finished.
I bring my litigation experience to my transactional work as well. I know how a poorly-structured transaction can lead to years of litigation and delays, especially in real estate construction projects and business acquisitions or mergers. I have helped clients develop commercial, residential, and multi-family real estate projects all around the Lake with the goal being to make sure those projects never see the inside of a courtroom.
